- There is no account; we never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Camera images and photos you pick are processed only on your phone. They are never uploaded or stored.
- No advertising, analytics or tracking tools. We don't sell data and don't track you across other apps.
- For price comparison, only the barcode or name of the product you choose is sent to price services.

Camera and photos
To read prices, the camera image and any photo you pick from your library are processed on your phone using Apple's on-device text recognition. Images are not sent to any server and are not stored by the app. Only the photo you select is accessed.
Location
If you allow location access, Prizzi uses your approximate location (about 1 km accuracy) to tell which country you are in and pick the local currency automatically. The country is determined with Apple's location services.
While you are in Türkiye, your approximate location is sent together with the product barcode to the Market Fiyatı service (TÜBİTAK) to show nearby supermarket prices.
No location history is kept. If you don't allow access, the app still works and you choose the currency yourself.
Price comparison
When you tap a product's barcode or name to see its price in another country (or the camera sees a product barcode), the following is sent:
- The barcode number: to the open databases Open Food Facts / Open Beauty Facts to find the product name, and to Market Fiyatı when Türkiye is selected.
- The product name or text read from the label: to our price comparison service (the mrgadget marketplace API), which searches Akakçe, billiger.de, idealo or BestPrice.
No information that identifies you (account, device ID, advertising ID) is included. As with any internet connection, these services can technically see your IP address.
Tapping a shop opens its website in your browser; that site's own privacy policy applies there.
Amazon affiliate links
Prizzi takes part in the Amazon.com.tr Associates programme. Amazon.com.tr links on the card ("Search on Amazon.com.tr" and Amazon shop rows) carry our affiliate ID; Amazon pays us a commission on qualifying purchases made through them, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. When you tap such a link, Amazon may use cookies and similar technologies on its own site under Amazon's privacy notice. Prizzi sends Amazon no information that identifies you.
Exchange rates
Rates are downloaded from the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (tcmb.gov.tr), or from open.er-api.com if it can't be reached. No personal data is sent.
Purchases
Prizzi Pro purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details; the app only checks with Apple whether a purchase is active and when it ends.
Stored on your phone
Your settings (language, currencies, rate type, comparison country), the last downloaded rates and your free-trial usage are stored on your phone. Trial usage is kept in the iOS Keychain, so deleting the app doesn't reset the trial. None of this is sent to us.
Children
Prizzi is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
To exercise your rights under the GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK (access, correction, deletion, objection), write to support@prizzi.app. Since we don't store personal data, there is usually nothing to delete, but we will answer within 30 days.
Changes
If the app's use of data changes, we will update this page and its date.
